One of the most beautiful cities in the English landscape, hosting what is arguably but probably the most beautiful castle in the center of Great Britain, Warwick is one of the best holiday destinations in England, and has been developing as of late.
Not exactly the best way to assess the quality of a holiday resort, but the average price of Warwickshire hotel rooms is pretty accessible. Like I said, this isn’t always, or often even, synonym with good quality, but in Warwickshire things tend to be different.
Truth is, there has been a concerned and concerted effort by regional officials and the tourism industry to develop the region and make it a more attractive tourist hot spot. And there’s no reason in the world why it shouldn’t, as it’s one of the most beautiful regions in England. Surely, the most old-fashioned tourism officer will assume that there are little chances that a tourist destination which has no beaches and it’s far away from the sea will never develop further than a few hundred tourists a year. But the modern tourist wants more than beaches, in fact, many modern tourists are tired of beaches and are looking for new challenges. And Warwickshire will give them that, and more.
